Web-based Sign On

Often we hear about corporate Execs who don't want a website running on System i due to security concerns. "I don't want the world to access our important applications and data" is the line I hear, constantly. In this session, Bob Cozzi shows you how to secure your websites using the same kind of securying as a green-screen application "Sign On". Whether you want only your existing User Profiles, or want to provide some public access, this session shows you the details behind configuring your webserver and the HTML code to make things work a little bit nicer than the default popup "sign on" dialog box that occurs.

About the Speaker: Bob Cozzi is the author of the quintesessial "The Modern RPG IV Language" and hosts the annual RPG World conference in Las Vegas. This year, the conference is being held at the Monte Carlo Resort on the Las Vegas strip on may 7 to 9, 2009. Dinner Meeting Cancellation Policy
Full credit will be issued for cancellations made before 9:00 am Friday, Feburary 12th.
After 9:00 am Feburary 12th, cancellation credit depends on meeting attendance.
All cancellations must be made by using the web cancellation feature below (the preferred method) or, if you must, by calling (630) 953-6312 and leaving the name(s) of those unable to attend.

Dinner Meeting Directions
The Embassy Suites is located in Lombard, on Butterfield Road between Meyers Road and Highland Avenue. An easy on/off at the Highland exit from I-88. It is just one block east of Yorktown Mall accessed by turning south at Technology Drive.
